ACE SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS
As part of the collaboration between the Association for Chemistry and the Environment (ACE) and LECO company, we are glad to announce 3 scholarships (LECO Stipendium) for MSc and PhD students as well as early career scientists to participate at the 23rd European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC23) in Budva, Montenegro, from the 3rd until the 6th of December 2023.
The LECO Stipendium covers the conference fee as well as travel/accommodation costs of up to 500 €.
In order to apply for the scholarship, the candidates should send the following elements to Dr. Nuno Ratola (nrneto@fe.up.pt) until the 1st of September, 2023:
- bibliography
- brief summary of hitherto research work
- letter of recommendation from a supervisor
- current certificate of enrolment
- certificate of examination results
Based on the past academic achievements (grade transcripts, scientific publications) and national quotas, 3 candidates will be selected as LECO Stipendium recipients for EMEC23.
The decision about the scholarship recipients will be made within seven days from the application deadline.
